I would like to thank our host Franzi, Kiki and the rest of the team for treating us with the upmost respect and kindness. The wonderful staff was very attentive and made everyone feel at home at all times. Everything has been taken care of from the day we arrived to when we left. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties. Everything was freshly made with passion and love. Franzi would occasionally give us a ride with the tuktuk when going out, or in need of a quick transport. Her driving skills are simply unmatched and deserves mentioning. The days felt nice and long as the property offers a safe space to retreat from the busy, chaotic roads further south, making you enjoy every second at the property more. Stunning views from all corners into the vast ocean with unforgettable sunsets leave you speechless. Our trip through SriLanka was rapidly transformed from an adventurous busy holiday to a perfect relaxing safe space with direct access to the beach. Leaving this place makes me extremely sad but I am hoping to return soon again to spend some more quality time with the wonderful people I’ve met here, and can call friends. Located just 7 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, Happy Valley Residence Unawatuna offers accommodation in Galle with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. The stay was amazing! The rooms were spotless, and the washroom was just like in the photos – clean and exactly what we expected. The host was super friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything. The kitchen was fully functional, so we could cook if we wanted, and they were kind enough to prepare a delicious pure veg breakfast on our request. The location was perfect, too – close to everything we wanted to explore. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient place to stay!

Incredible views (cannot be understated), superb staff - desk/rooms/beach, spacious apartment - upgraded to presidential; if you can stay in that room it’s worth every penny, relatively private beach with proximity to tourist areas. Slept REALLY well. Breakfast was good.

Excellent and helpful hotel owners, friendly staff. The environment is nicely arranged, good swimming pool, delicious breakfast. Relatively good Wi-Fi as in Sri Lanka. Hotel on a hill, suitable for those who like peace.

It’s the second time we came to the Riff and we are again very happy that we chose this beautiful hotel. From management to staff you’ll find kind and helpful people that make this stay even more beautiful. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, the service is great. We enjoyed the food from breakfast to dinner and really appreciate the options of traditional and authentic Sri Lankan dishes on the menu.

Manthally Cabanas offers unique, handcrafted cabanas in a Jungle setting just 1.5 mile inland from the beautiful Narigama Beach and 2 miles from Hikkaduwa Beach. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.
