EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

Fabulous place to stay, the hobbit house is superb and really comfy, the host is a lovely man who will do anything for you. Near by you can go to a fantastic wild beach where turtles nest, at night we went with a ranger and he showed us a turtle laying her eggs, a really special experience. We where lucky enough on another day early in the morning see the last of the baby turtles making there way to the sea. All around the area is wonderful wildlife, both mornings we where there we saw a mongoose and moniter lizards in the front of the hobbit house.

He was very interested to make our stay great. He was always online since I did the booking and till the end. Helped a lot with all our request. Despite the facility is very simple, this money definitely worth that we got. Great location, a nice wild beach nearby, many place to go to eat. I like the place.

There are great amenities, such as the pool overlooking the ocean, which is perfect for chilling after a long day at the beach. Special mention to the friendly staff, always willing to help.

Situated 2.9 km from Tissa Wewa, New Vilard offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. We stayed 1 night here before our safari in Yala. The owners kindly helped us organise our safari and when we got back they had a delicious and very generously sized breakfast waiting for us. Would recommend this place to all.

This was a beautiful getaway near Tangalle. The facilities were lovely, the whole resort was just idyllic, and the food was delicious. We wish we could have spent more time at the location! Directly on the beach, also with a gorgeous salt-water pool, lots of comfortable hammocks and bean bags to enjoy the view. The staff were also incredibly helpful and accommodating when we got sick, and went above and beyond to help us out.
