Directly located along Kalatura Beach, the Tangerine Beach Hotel offers an outdoor pool and yoga lessons. Set amidst tropical gardens, it also has an Ayurvedic spa and 2 restaurants. Rooms were large comfortable and clean with plenty of toiletries. Staff were really friendly and helpful

Built on 9 acres of gardens, AVANI Kalutara Resort (formerly Kani Lanka Resort and Spa) is located by the Kalu Ganga River. It offers an outdoor pool, a luxurious spa and free Wi-Fi. Quite simply the staff. They all did whatever they could to make our stay better especially regarding food options. The chef’s personally came over for every meal time and also to prepare baby food for our 10 month baby. Good value for money and not too far from Columbo. Excellent if you want to relax as a family. A big thank you to Ashan for making the stay as comfortable as possible and to Ruwan and the rest of the team for looking after us every meal time. Highly recommend due to the level of customer service. Would also recommend the pool suite.
