Everything about this hotel was amazing, the views are breathtaking taking. The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really care for the guests. Rooms are a great size and clean. There are a lot of bugs but expected as it is in the jungle. The food was absolutely delicious if you want authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The pool is perfect. There is not much to do and it is far away from everything, but absolutely perfect if you just want to relax, which is exactly what I needed.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in recently. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

The rooms are very confortable, the view is amazing and the nature hiking around is magical. You can émerge yourself into tea landscaping and see all the mountains. Situated just 5.7 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Lalanga Homestay features accommodation in Kandy with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Yasith and the family are the most beautiful and welcoming people! I stayed here for over 2 weeks because they made me feel so at home. The food is DELICIOUS (I ate breakfast & dinner nearly every day) and some little extra requests were never too much trouble. I was even given some free business advice from Yasith which was so helpful! If you stay in Kandy I would 100% recommend Lalanga, my room was lovely, clean, and just what I needed. Cute little balcony and incredible value for money. It’s out of the center which is better because you’re away from all the buzz and the walk around the river is beautiful. Thank you Lalanga for such a memorable stay :)

Had dinner at Kandy Calm Residence, and it was a fantastic experience. A proper home-cooked Sri Lankan meal with warm hospitality. The place is cozy and inviting, and the hosts incredibly welcoming. They took the time to explain each dish, where the ingredients come from, and how everything is made. You can tell they truly care about what they do. The food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices and home-style cooking, making the meal unforgettable. What made the dinner even more special was the personal touch, with thoughtful presentation and warm conversations with the hosts. It was more than just a meal; it was a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The accomodation is spacious, well appointed, clean and well presented. If you're looking for stay and authentic, home-cooked meal in a peaceful and welcoming setting, I highly recommend a stay at Kandy Calm Residence.
