Food was great and the surroundings are truly unique - a short trip to Yala and a short walk to the beach (although not safe to swim at the closest one - which was fine as a it was a lovely walk and view.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. We had a fantastic stay! The staff was really nice and friendly. The manager arranged our safari, a tuktuk ride to see a local ceremony in the village and a car ride to Mirissa. Also, we got to see the cinnamon and fruit/vegetable garden. We had amazing homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner for a very fair price. The room was spacious and clean. Further, the location of the hotel next to the rice fields is amazing. It's nice to go for a walk and you have a great view from the garden and balcony. We can highly recommend staying here!

Set in Tissamaharama, 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Nehansa Resort and safari offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. They were incredibly friendly and treated us very well. The safari was delightful. They welcomed us with King Coconut, which was absolutely exquisite. There are Deer in their garden. We had a wonderful day with them. The food was also of excellent quality. Everything was simply outstanding.

Ms Danushka was so accomodating and even we arrived late, she helped prepared dinner for us and didn't costs that much. She had 2 cute large dogs who followed us and were so friendly and curious. Ms Danushka also helped to book for Yala National Park with jeep safari (pricey for the safari, but i guess that's the standard price) Definitely recommended and i wish we could stay for more nights.

Set within 2.2 km of Tissa Wewa and 27 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Amazon Cabanas provides accommodation with seating area. Run by a lovely couple, they even prepared some coffee at 4 am before our safari and gave us fruits from their garden trees. The place is in the middle of an amazing garden. Big bathroom, comfy bed, great gateway to Yala, good breakfast. You can walk to good restaurants nearby.

The host is very friendly. I give 5 out of 5 points for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you very much for the organized safari and the hospitality.
