NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is a private island hideaway located in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its vibrant marine life and natural beauty. I recently had the most incredible stay at Reethi Beach Resort and I can't wait to share my amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the room was exceptionally comfortable with a cozy bed and beautiful décor. The hotel's amenities were outstanding; the spa was a tranquil oasis and they also had a gift shop. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the local trips organized by the hotel. I went snorkeling and got to see dolphins up close—it was really magical. Plus, the hotel is located right next to a nice coral reef, which made exploring the underwater world incredibly convenient and breathtaking. The staff was exceptional. They were incredibly kind and always responded promptly to any requests I had. Every morning and evening, they delivered complimentary bottles of water to my room, which was a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, the hotel surprised us with a special barbecue dinner one evening—an absolute highlight of the trip! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. (Try out the lamb and the sea food). During my stay, I made a new friend named Faloo, who works at the hotel. Faloo not only offered us a great service every day, but also shared fascinating insights about the local environment and culture. It was wonderful to connect with someone so friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend Reethi Beach Resort for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable experiences. Thank you to the entire team at Reethi Beach Resort for making my stay truly memorable.

Boasting city views, Biosphere Inn offers accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 400 metres from Dharavandhoo Beach. The host Hamdhan is incredibly kind and takes care of his guests very well. He helped us with the travel options from the airport and is in general a great guy <3 You can ask for excursions and get a good variety of options adapted to what makes the most sense in the season/week. The breakfast is simple but delicious and you can have your breakfast eggs as you wish. The rooms have decent AC and we felt comfortable at all times.

Facing the beachfront, Avani Plus Fares Maldives Resort offers 5-star accommodation in Baa Atoll and features a garden, private beach area and shared lounge. Transfer: We were transferred from Malé Airport by the resort's transfer partner, Manta Air seaplane. The transfer process was smooth, and we were greeted immediately after customs control. The waiting area for the seaplane flight was comfortable with a cozy lounge. The flight itself takes approximately 30-40 minutes and lands on a floating platform near the island, where you'll be picked up by boat. Location: The island is beautifully maintained, covered in lush greenery and coconut trees. In the evenings, hundreds of hermit crabs scuttle along the sandy paths, and fruit bats squabble in the treetops. The house reef is fantastic, offering plenty of snorkeling opportunities to see a variety of fish, including occasional curious reef sharks. Snorkeling equipment rental is available and was complimentary during our stay. Sunbeds with umbrellas are spaced out along the beach, ensuring privacy and relaxation. The island is relatively small, taking about 20-30 minutes to walk around. Room: Our room was on the second floor with an ocean view. There are four rooms per house, two on the ground floor and two on the first. Ground-floor rooms have panoramic glass doors leading directly to a small green yard and the beach beyond, while second-floor rooms have a balcony. The bed was large and comfortable, and all necessary toiletries and towels were provided. However, we didn't find slippers (which weren't really needed) and instead of toothpaste, tooth cleaning tablets were available. It's worth noting that in the evenings, geckos were often seen near our entrance, although they didn't enter the room. Crew: All the on-site personnel were cheerful and eager to help. Upon arrival, we were assigned a dedicated remote butler, Manu, who we could contact via WhatsApp. This allowed us to easily schedule and reschedule our activities. You can also use the Avani app for this, but we found that working with Manu was more convenient and added a personal touch.

Coral Castle - Goidhoo Maldives is set in Baa Atoll and features a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. An absolutely amazing experience! Goidhoo is quite a remote island and it's not very popular among tourists, so it's perfect if you want to experience the Maldivian culture and hospitality, as well as to observe the nature. The Coral Castle is located right in the center of the village and very close to the beach. The staff are very friendly and have kindly accommodated all my requests. They helped me to arrange snorkeling trips and transfer back to Male by a supply boat. I stayed in a dorm room, but I was alone there throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. I would recommend Coral Castle and Goidhoo island to everyone who wants to have a quiet holiday and to interact with the local community.

Located in Kudarikilu, Nihaali Maldives offers beachfront accommodation 100 metres from Four Seasons Voavah Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. We had an amazing time on the island. The corals were breathtaking, and we managed to see several types of rays, sharks (only the friendly type) and turtles. The hotel is located on a really small and tidy island, and it was more than easy to get around it. All the locals were super lovely and greeted us every time with a smile on their face. Our room was clean, the food was simple yet very tasty and the staff was so so nice. We were truly surprised by how genuinely kind and helpful the staff was, especially the management team. We definitely had a blast on this "little paradise" and can't wait to return to Maldives.
