Set 3.6 km from Telaga Harbour in Kampung Padang Masirat, The Smith House features a restaurant and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was excellent. Every aspects of our stay was on 4 star level, not 3 stars. Kind and helpful crew, amazing pool with view on the rooftop, breakfast with huge variety, well equipped room, great wifi. Hotel is located next to Grab station, so it is easy to discover the island if you don't want to rent a car. Restaurants, self service laundries, supermarket, drogerie next to the building. So many services in the souroundings, and still it is a quite Hotel with green, tropical view, mountaines. We tried the kitchen for dinners sometimes, and they are cooking delicious. Perfect flavours for european tastes. Big compliment for the chef. Great value for this money. The only thing what we were missing from the room, is a racking for drying our towels and wet swimming suits.

This was our first hotel that we visited in Langkawi. This is a really small luxury family hotel. The hotel is built in a beautiful European style with a courtyard. The room is spacious and very cozy. The staff is responsive, friendly and always ready to help. I would especially like to note the breakfasts with a variety of dishes of Malaysian, Indian, European and Asian cuisine. Also for breakfast you are brought a menu, you can choose a dish from it and it will be cooked and brought to you for free. There is a separate station with tea and coffee where they prepare excellent hot drinks such as Teh tarik. The hotel is small but at the same time people are accommodated by the pool and do not interfere with each other. The room has chic robes of the right size, which is important.

World class five star resort that made a modest couple’s honeymoon destination an absolute luxury with the complimentary room upgrade to the best room in the resort. I am so overwhelmed; I can’t thank you enough for the experience. Exceptional barbecue by the beach on Saturday; and phenomenal temperature of the pool. Would love to visit again because it truly is paradise. Butterfly lizards are such adorable little creatures. Truly a joy to watch.

Located within 8.3 km of Langkawi Kristal and 8.9 km of Langkawi Bird Paradise in Kuah, Fox Hill offers accommodation with seating area. Great location, beautiful traditional Malaysian houses, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. A small gem in Langkawi, we enjoyed it very much.

Set in Pantai Cenang, 1.6 km from Cenang Beach, Mazza Nur Motel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Very spacious and clean room with good ac, good lighting and warm water. Good location around the corner from a good coffee shop and short walk to main street and beach. No mosquitos in room. Excellent value

Facing the beachfront, Casa del Mar Langkawi offers 4-star accommodation in Pantai Cenang and has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. Our stay at Casa Del Mar was perhaps the most ideal, relaxing stay we have ever experienced. My husband actually sat still for several days, poolside, and read a book (!!!), dipped in the pool occasionally, slept in the shade, meditated on the ocean scene spread out before him (jet skis far enough in the distance to be interesting but not noisy, parasails colorfully dotting the warm blue skies against puffy white clouds). Breakfast was declicious with western and suburb local offerings—-and plenty of everything. Bar service was exceptional throughout the day. We dined on site one night and the menu, food, and service on the beach was, again, exceptional. The entire staff was all smiles and eager to please—-we felt so very welcome. And—drum roll: the turndown service each evening was charming! We would go out to dinner (the hotel is steps away from the throng of downtown Cenang with all it’s shopping and dining options) though the facility itself feels miles removed) and when we’d return to our room, the lights were dimmed, soft jazz was playing on the internet radio, the sheets were exquisitely “turned” with clever little tokens of paper messages about the weather forecast for the next day, suggestions of what to do, etc. It was like getting a fortune cookie on your bed (without the calories!). Speaking of calories, as part of the turndown service, they also provided large ceramic mugs with fixings for either tea or hot chocolate. And they always had a jar of peanuts and coconut cookies to nibble on throughout the day. And we strongly encourage folks to reserve a “high tea” at least one afternoon. Their tiered trays of savory and patisserie dainties was just as delightful as everything else. We originally considered staying at the hotel further north—-the one with the rooms out over the water. But we opted to be within walking distance of town/activity and we are so very, very glad with out choice. Casa Del Mar is an exceptional hotel and great value!
