The Obelix was clean, comfortable and was in a good location only a short walk from the town centre. The staff were very helpful and generally there was a genuine friendly atmosphere. The breakfasts were freshly prepared. The rooms were a little on the small side, but for the price I think this Hotel represents excellent value for money.

I immediately cancelled the remainder of our time in Luderitz and booked the Bahnhof hotel and it remains a highlight of our holiday. As a hotelier of 19 years, every bit of this stay exceeded my expectations. All the small touches, especially the surprising turndown with a hot water bottle and handmade chocolate, exceeded what I assumed would be modest services in a small town hotel. The peace and staff were what makes this place, but one cannot ignore the general good maintenance and cleanliness.
