A day before arriving. I had a motorcycle accident. Very painful. Fractured foot and wounds on arm and leg. The hotell staff helped me so very much to heal. Way beyond my expectations. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

The bungalows are very cute and private, and there is ample space to sit and enjoy the scenery of the property. The lake is warm and clean and great for swimming, and the pool is a nice alternative. The restaurant on site is excellent.
