Well set in the centre of Christchurch, Drifter Christchurch provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Excellent hostel. Everything was perfect except for the size of the cooking area which, as so many others have stated, is too small.

Peter as the host was very nice and friendly. The lodge is close to airport and convenient for a next day traveling outside of Christchurch. The rooms were clean, modern spacious and perfect with everything you need! Laundry and dryer are also free to use. Our family travelled and stayed in NZ for 14 days. We all loved here and considered here to be the best!

We have stayed at several motels in the area and this is the first one that we'd consider using again. The manager and his wife were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were in Unit 12....away from Papanui Rdand and very quiet. Everything from decor to furnishings were pleasant. The bed was terrific and we loved that the sheets felt like cotton and not synthetic feeling. Super location for us. There is a nice Cafe within a 2 minute walk that opens at 7am.

Situated in Christchurch, 7.8 km from Christchurch Art Gallery, Tussock Hill Vineyard Retreats features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Loved absolutely everything, from the well thought out design to the comfortable bed. The view from the bathtubs and even the ability to Bluetooth your own music through the room. The staff were extremely helpful from the moment I made the booking. Even organised a platter to be brought down to us to enjoy with our complimentary bottle of wine.
