Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, the highest five star resort in the middle east on the curving rim of a great canyon, is a secluded haven for the intrepid and discerning. The resort is built on a plateau next to a cliff , the views are breathtaking, the gardens is full of olive trees, pomegranates, and other fruit bearing trees, also full of roses and flowers. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive, we took the 3 villages cultural hike, it was ammaaazzziiinnnggg , our guide Mr Hasan was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and well informed, speaks excellent English, knows the area extremely well , the hike was the highlight of our stay , highly recommended .

The location, the views, the design, the service, the staff, the attention to the last detail - absolutely exquisite!!! No photo or comment can do justice to this place. I love all the staff in food and beverage and room service and lifeguards , my respect to the HR MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER for managing this property in proper way . Inshallah we will be back soon

The daytime supervisor on duty who offered me a free upgrade and the local Omani lady were always ready with a smile, providing excellent service and ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and genuine care made me feel truly valued as a guest.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Probably the best views in the area and the hotel has its own private observation deck. The rooms were spacious and clean and a good buffet breakfast was offered.
