We absolutely loved our stay at the camp! Such a beautiful place. We were a group of seven and had an amazing time. The highlight of our trip was definitely the quad experience around the dunes at sunset, guided by a guide (we booked it on the spot). The camp dinner was delicious, accompanied by great music, making the whole experience even more special. The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. Thank you again! We would definitely come back!

The Best Western Sur is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. Good hotel outside the city center with parking space restaurant and bar. The room is big and confortable with a lot of space and a big bath. Continental breakfast perfect and we try also the buffet dinner very good. Staff kind and helpfull. Swimming pool open until late evening and also gym zone.

A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. With 2 kids, this is as adventures as we could be in the desert. The tent fit us all in comfortably. The staff was friendly and the chef even cooked a dish for us that we liked. We did several activities also. All in all a good balance between desert and comfort.
