A brand new scuba shop has opened with the most amazing facilities. Ben is one of the best dive masters we’ve ever had the pleasure of diving with. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything worked (air conditioning, hot water, safe, outlets). Not always true in the Philippines! Food was pretty good at their restaurant, serving staff needs some better training, but they were kind. Go to Dolce Amore in San Juan - you won’t regret it!

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, a sun terrace with a swimming pool, garden and restaurant, Dumalaay Coastline Resort is set in Larena. I loved the location, but it might not be for everyone. You do need to get a scooter and it is away from the more touristy areas. There were bonuses for me, but maybe not for everyone. The staff and the people in the area in general were really friendly and helpful. I loved Siquijor!!!
