Mountain View Guesthouse might be the best guesthouse I’ve stayed in. It’s located very close to the N7, petrol stations, supermarket, restaurants, and Costa coffee shop. A lovely warm welcome from Roché. He has thought of everything. A beautiful, immaculately clean room, full kitchen facilities with comprehensive dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee pod machine, 2 x multi-head phone chargers. Also a working TV (doesn't always happen in my experience), and secure parking. No breakfast provided but that was expected, and it’s fine for me as I had my own food. And places to eat close by. Situated in Cederberg in the Western Cape region, Mount Ceder features accommodation with free private parking. Wow! What a place! The location is phenomenal in the heart of the Cederberg Mountains. The chalets are beautifully situated in the valley, with privacy and views that make the very best of the landscape. And oh my the hot tub! The houses are very well equipped with everything you need for a self sufficient stay - or for you to benefit from the tasty braai boxes available. The service and staff are incredible, with attentive and flexible support, helpful information, and knowledgeable and very professional guides for the activities on offer. If you can, stay at Mount Ceder!

Offering panoramic views of the Cederburg Mountain Range, Simbavati Cederberg Ridge is located 7 km from Clanwilliam. Each suite has a private patio with mountain views. This trip exceeded our expectations. When we arrived we were upgraded for free on arrival. The service has nothing short of excellent and the attention to detail was superb. Will definitely be back and we highly recommend the Full Board as the activities were great!

Set in Clanwilliam, in a historic building, 45 km from Ratelfontein Station, Rosenhof Studio Apartment is an apartment with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. What a lovely property. We had a last minute booking. Communication was quick and friendly. Instructions were clear and we found it with no problems in the dark. Friendly staff and very well equipped. The breakfast was 5 star. Will most definitely stay over again.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, lake view and a balcony, Kokowit is situated in Clanwilliam. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. We spent Christmas there and we absolutely loved it. The pool was a welcome retreat in the scorching heat. The house was clean and it really felt like home. Would advise it for anyone.

Set within 41 km of Wupperthal Museum and 4.2 km of Sevilla Rock Art Trail, Neels Cottage provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Clanwilliam. Wonderful friendly generous hosts, all very clean, a very interesting library, more than we needed in the way of kitchenware, good recycling facility.

The booking to check-in process is amazing. The host is extremely on top of her game to make this process smooth as possible. We were kept informed from the time of booking to our arrival. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Thank you Prestine! Beautiful property overall. The most homely comfortable place.

Located in Citrusdal, 15 km from Citrusdal Quad Farm and 16 km from Petersfield 4WD-trail, Cederkloof Botanical Retreat provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with an... Peaceful place with beautiful cabins and lots of nice touches. Hot tubs and pool were wonderful, hikes with beautiful views. Check in was very easy! Great place to be immersed in nature but still have all the modern comforts.

Located within 10 km of Citrusdal, Waterfall Farm Self-Catering Cottages Citrusdal provides facilities like BBQ facilities and garden. Our group of 7 had a fantastic 3 days at the farm. We stayed in Honey Cottage- it is well equipped with a lovely verandah and plunge pool. It is a 900m walk to the stunning waterfalls-a great way to cool off and enjoy nature. Aaron & Sophia were around when we needed anything. We’d recommend this property to others looking for a getaway not too far from Cape Town. An added bonus is that it is pet friendly!
