It was so quaint. Fabulous wee house. My husband and I fell in love with it. Nothing was forgotten and so clean. It was walking distance to train station along by the lake. I will be recommending this place to any friend visiting Switzerland.

Silvia was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, despite being next to railway. Breakfast was lovely. location was good. 5 minutes from city centre by train, which runs every 15 minutes.

Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

    I will recommend it for a short stay. The location is good. It is 18 minutes away from Lucerne centrum. The natural view nearby is wonderful. The host for the breakfast is so friendly.

    Clear communication before arrival. Good location, close to the station. Good choice on offer for breakfast. Quiet. We stayed here to be close to the Pilatusbahn and the guest house was near enough to walk to Alpnach.

    For switzerland thus is great vakue for money. Old fashioned but charming and well maintained hotel. Like the old days when we could afford to stay longer in this beautiful country. Very nice staff especially at the breakfast and GREAT food in the litte classy restaurant.

    We stayed in a ground-floor studio. It was very nice and spacious. Super clean. We were very positively surprised to find some Swiss chocolates left for us, and even some food and drinks in the fridge. At first we were worried that the bed mattress might be too soft, but in the end we slept comfortably. The area is really nice - the apartment is located straight on the hiking trail and super close to Pilatus railway stop. Good value for money (taking into account Swiss prices)
