Location was fantastic, waking up with the mountains outside your window is breathtaking. The room was clean, breakfast exceptional and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a VERY memorable experience. The walk from the railway station to hotel on arrival with bags was challenging, however, if you telephone on arrival a shuttle bus service is available for 5 francs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gletscherblick and will definitely recommend it to family and friends in Australia.

The hotel is stunning, the staff is super friendly (especially the people who work at breakfast). The room was super clean, and the view—oh my God—was incredible. We thought we were in a Tolkien movie. Upon checkout, they even gifted us some homemade tea. We would definitely come back again! :)

Everything was perfect. They had the best service we have ever experienced, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were one of the friendliest people i’ve ever met, the bartender even teached us how to play pool! the place was so nice and clean, the beds were so comfy, and the balcony had the best view of the mountain, we felt really welcomed, they even gave us free welcoming drink and cake and when we checked out they give us free water bottles and chocolate and a ride to the train station.. Honestly worth every penny, BEST HOTEL EVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! :D

The property is simply beautiful. A family run hotel at the base of Eiger making for a spectacular setting. The nearby church with the steep mountains in the background are a treat for the eyes. It is away from the crowds of the town but near enough to quickly walk. Our rooms were spacious with a beautiful balconey to relax. The owners were helpful with advise on where to go. We are dinner there one night and it was a very enjoyable dinner. The service at breakfast and dinner is really very good and so is the food. Grindelwald is such a beautiful place we could’ve easily spent a week there!

This spa area was definitely a favorite during my stay. - Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. The breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food to choose from. - Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.     My wallet was get stolen on the train, and the employee of the hotel try her best to help me. Contacting to the SBB station and police for me without hesitate. I really appreciate it, especially you are just a traveller who only stay for one night. I will extremely suggest this accommodation also for its cheap price and fantastic location.
