The hotel had recently re-opened under a new name and management. The quality of the refurbishment was excellent. The staff we beyond friendly and helpful. When there was a problem with my booking (entirely due to my error) they corrected it without any fuss.

The staff were super helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and cool, and the breakfast had lots of options and was generous. The coffee machine did decent coffees, which was important to us! We had a twin room and a double room, both spacious and comfortable. Great shower! The hotel was very quiet at night, which meant we slept very well. The location is good for somewhere out of town enough for peace and quiet, and good access to the motorway. We drove into town each day because the weather was so hot but it wouldn't have been a long walk (maybe 20 minutes) and there's a bus. My daughter was sick the day we were due to fly home, and the lady on reception couldn't have been kinder. She was an absolute gem and let us check out a bit later so my daughter could rest a bit longer.

    Great facilities, one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Even though its at the pricey end (was in a female dorm of 6) didn't feel crowded, plenty of secure storage, power points, nice toilet and sink in the room, and really nice modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and cool 'chill' space available as well!

    Everything we needed and more Staff (Matthew) were amazing, friendly, knowledgable of area, we spent one night before cycling around the lake and another night after cycling, we were upgraded on our second stay, breakfast was good too 20 minute walk to the lake but was made aware there was public transport available if wanted with a free transport pass

    We've stayed here a few times - the rooms are clean, tidy, minimalistic & relatively modern. The beds are comfortable, the shower good. Breakfast in the common area is a simple buffet of tasty bread (& a toaster), little packages of cheese/butter, choice of yoghurts, jams, fruit.

    Staying next to Renata and her family was amazing. They were always there to help in case of any questions. Super friendly atmosphere, great apartment with a huge garden and lake view. One morning Renata even brought us a bowl of fresh strawberries. We hope that we can visit again, soon!
