    Everyone who helped us at the hotel was very friendly, and we felt very comfortable. Our room was wonderful and the view from our window was lovely, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The jaccuzi and sauna were a delight at the end of a long day. We also had dinner one evening at the hotel, which was also good. The location is also perfect! A very short walk to the train, and one day we even began our hike from the hotel. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

    Very nice old hotel in the perfect location. I was not sure where to stay between Pirna or Bad Schandau so this is the perfect location in between the two. Nice view of the river and the fortress. Free car park on site. Nice breakfast. We did not eat dinner here, drinks outside on the terrace were great. We took the salt spa which was not water but very relaxing.

    It was sparky clean, tastefully furnished, easy to reach, and just overall a very nice place to stay. The host communicated well in English, showed me everything about the property and gave important info, such as nearby restaurants.

    Wonderful place to stay with family, the kitchen is fully equipped, spacious rooms and the view is so worth it! It was quiet and beautiful. City centre close, the fortress approachable on foot, we had a great walk from the apartment. The terrace is a huge plus. Highly recommend!

    Absolutely wonderful room, with lovely hosts and an ideal location. The room was equipped with everything that I needed (fridge, coffee maker, water boiler). The hosts were attentive and warm and gave me great tips on where to explore. The room was perfectly sized for solo travel, and located close to the town center Koenigstein, as well as the train station and ferry. I recommend staying at this cozy and quiet location for those travelling solo or with a partner.

    Absolutely amazing place. Very nice owner. The house is very spacious, clean and comfortbale. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is excellent. If you come by train you just need to climb 1km uphill. Thank you for a great stay.
