Elizabeth House was absolutely amazing. The location, the accommodations, and the view were perfect. Directly across the corridor from the entrance to the apartment is a jewelry store called Yayla e LELO. The couple was extremely friendly, and their store was incredible. Everyone in the Varenna Holidays office was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit! Overall, our experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurants are great and it’s so easy to get over to Bellagio via ferry. I would also recommend the wine shop outside the accommodation (it’s owned by the hosts) - the wine and food are delicious and there’s a huge range to try. She is the sweetest lady who gave us all the tips on where to eat and drink in town and where else to go for fun. She was even driving us around in her car multiple times during the 3 days. The apartment is in great location, 3 minute walk from the train station and very close to ferry terminal. Varenna was our favourite location on the lake, Valerio and family were great hosts and made our stay all the more enjoyable, I highly recommend this apartment to families or couples travelling together. Alfina, the host, was generous and hospitable welcoming us with such kindness assuring all our needs were met.
