    We loved our stay at this beautifully presented, beautifully located home in Azumino. Set amongst the most incredible mountain landscape, and surrounded by so, so many stunning onsens, this thoughtfully created and curated home is an excellent base to explore a very special part of Japan.     It was a lovely accommodation. Everything was clean, there was good parking, I had a comfortable bed, there was a combini right down the road, they thought of everything… even some noodles you could heat up if you couldn’t get food in town.

    The owner was very accommodating. He was very welcoming and showed everything around the house. It was like living in your own home, everything was available for your convenience and very clean. Wished we stayed longer.

    Mr Shino is very very accommodating and helpful. The facilities are large with a very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is shared but there was never a problem. There are virtually no other places to stay in this area so Shino's Farm was a wonderful find. We booked in twice during our holidays as we were so comfortable here. Thank you Mr Shino for making our stay so comfortable.

    Quiet ambience with a lively view of the mountains from the driveway. Probably would have a magnificent view of the night sky but it was full moon when we stayed. Kitchen is well equipped to indulge in the natural bounties of Japan. Also comes with its own onsen so you can avoid the crowd (and the extra fee) at the main hotel. A totally unique experience from the usual ryokans.
