    The host was extremely kind and welcoming! The hostel is in a good position, not far from Kairakuen, and with many services to spend a nice time at the guest house. It was clean and in good condition. Totally suggested for a stay in Mito

    This was my third stay at President and I appreciate the room size and location of the hotel (short walk to Mito station). Usually cheaper than other similar options or much smaller room. The staff offers good service and the rooms are clean although not modern by any standard.

    The second time I have stayed here for the MotoGP at Motegi weekend. Prices in Mito spike, therefore my low ‘value’ score. Basic and clean rooms, with blockout window shutters, polite staff, and great location in Mito. Not the finest hotel, but by no means the worst. A pleasant place to sleep!

    Great hotel right in the centre of town. Room was great, comfortable and quiet. Buffet breakfast was Japanese style and very tasty. Staff were great, especially the young lady whose English was better than my Japanese! I would happily stay again.

    An excellent example of high-quality services. It has clean rooms, everything is functional, and a beautiful river view. I was staying here during the Mito festival, and I was happy I booked my accommodation on the other side of the station, which separated the lively atmosphere of the festival from my resting space.

    3rd time we have stayed here and as usual all excellent. We treated ourselves and head a King Room which is a bit of a luxury but well worth the money. Can't wait to stay here again next year.
