It is a beautiful traditional Japanese house that is very spacious and has excellent facilities. The photos don’t do the house justice! It is in an excellent location, just near Honmura port, and the host, Masako went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. Art houses, bike hire (TVC - just text the number on the wall and they will meet you), the museums, greet coffee and restaurants. Easy buses and ferries to other areas. This accommodation was great and the host very hospitable. The breakfast was good, we wrapped it up and took it on our adventures. We stayed in winter and found that the room was well heated. You could use the e-bikes and explore the island. There was also a TV with a Netflix account to relax after an exciting day. The staff Aio was very nice and picked us up from the port and brought us back there when we left. She also gave us tips on how to make the best use of our time on the island. It is not big, but has everything that you need. The balcony is amazing as you can see the waves below. The shower was also exceptionally good compared to other accommodations we stayed in before. They made sure to pick us up with a taxi from the ferry port and at the end of our stay, they o drop us off at the port with their private car.
