Co-Owner and receptionist were super helpfull, diligent and put a mini fridge in my room. The hotel is small, but full of very nice artwork. Exceptional room and breakfast room design, that you wont find even in 5 star hotels. Opposite of trainstation and Aldi and Halbinsel Au Park. Room towards garden with bird chirping and no noise. Sea road like dead during evening/night. Enough free parking right infront. In short: much better than expected and how it looks from outside.

The accommodation has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only. All rooms have a view of the lake. Our room overlooking the water was spacious and beautifully decorated- my husband, who can be critical, remarked that it was one of the nicest rooms we had been to in an extended time. Lovely small veranda to sit and view the water along with goats (and cute kid goats) grazing outside. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. Dinner also lovely with good service and nice tables again with water views. There are plentiful tables outside but the weather was a little cool so we sat inside.

There was a choice of restaurants and bars nearby and local bakeries and supermarkets. Will definitely return.

The location was beautiful and close to the family we were visiting. We will likely return when we visit Zurich again.

He was always in touch and answered me all the questions I had prior my trip and then when I got to Switzerland and also when I got to the apartment. I walked from the train station (it is a long walk if you are not used it or if you have luggage) to the apartment. It was a very nice uphill walk with great views and nice cafés around. Steph also was in touch during my stay and it was always available to answer questions. Check out was smooth, all easy. The apartment is a 5 Star apartment, completely clean with all that you need for your stay. An ALDI is 1 minute away from the apartment and that is a very good thing to know! Overall it was a fantastic choice.
