Cleanliness, amazing view of Mount Fuji, staff were friendly. Bedding was comfy and clean. Everything felt like it was organized smoothly. Not cheap for the tent but understand it is peak season.

Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing experience and breathtaking views of Fuji. The room was pretty comfortable and the hotel was fantastic. When visiting Fuji I will stay in La Vista for sure.

I loved everything about this hotel from our beautiful bedroom facing the lake; the kimonos offered to us that they encouraged you to wear throughout the hotel; the buffet food that was offered for happy hour was plentiful and so delicious. We used their laundry facilities and the staff were kind enough to show us how to operate it; it was a little different than what we had ever used. They also helped us arrange the bus ride and train ride to Nagoya which we really appreciated. I would stay there again when visiting Japan, simply perfect.
