Very smooth and relaxed checkin, the hotel is walking distance from Salzburg airport so is very convenient for a stop over before making our onward journey. The kids loved the breakfast and made us promise to stay again if we're in the area again in the future.

Location is amazing, few minutes drive from the airport. The surroundings are also beautiful!!! Great restaurants nearby! Easy check in process! The apartment was everything we expected and more. Well heated, lots of space and very, very clean. The shower had great water pressure and the walk in wardrobe was very useful. If you are renting a car, there is an underground garage. Honestly l cannot fault this apartment. If I were to come back, I would happily book Madlhof apartments!!!

Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore it. As we can see from the car wile we driving on the main street it is very nice small city. We only taste very good traditional Bavarian cuisine of Zollhausl restaurant.

You only need one day to explore Salzburg, it’s a very old city, you don’t have much activities there, only the old town which was fine. There is many cities in Austria that are much better than Salzburg. In my opinion don’t waste your time in it.

the staff is amazing To things are subjects for improvement First 1.enrich the breakfast 2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

Very Nice unit.
Very Nice unit. Unit was in good order and had what we needed. I must mention we had a horrible check-in experience. We called upon arrival. Individual had no idea what we were talking about to gain access. Booking.com did not recognize we had a reservation. Had to send a copy of the email to them. According to Google, the location did not match the published address. We were to be at street number #12, but it was actually location was #11. We made multiple calls while in the rain trying to reach someone to sort it out. Except for a good Samaritan who spoke fluent German, it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to get to the unit. Even they required several calls to explain the situation. The until was good, but I would not return for fear of being stranded.
