Perfectly positioned to make the most of the Australian outback, Sails in the Desert is just a 5-minute walk from the Uluru (Ayers Rock) lookout and is a great spot to take in the desert sunrise or... Conveniently located, the property is lovely - perhaps the best in the area. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Great onsite dining and shopping options for the Uluru experience!

Situated less than 15 km from Ayers Rock, The Lost Camel Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace. Room was simple, but spotless. Swimming pool was a wonderful spot to cool off after long hikes in 30+ temperatures. Location was terrific… right beside the “town square” with access to cafes, a grocery store, souvenir stores and a place to book tours. We had stayed here on our first trip to Australia 12 years ago, and could not make a booking six years ago because of renovations. We were happy to return and not stay in one of the more expensive venues.

Ideally situated for those who want to enjoy all that Uluru, Ayers Rock, has to offer, Outback Hotel offers an on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available. There is so much to love about this property, but we particularly liked the more rustic setting and the outdoor bar area.
