Boulevard Lodge is a family run and operated motel located in Bundaberg with 26 spacious and comfortable rooms available - suitable for both business travellers or those looking for a getaway. The host, Anthony, was exceptional. Went out of his way as simply the manager or desk clerk to become a personal concierge who booked a tee time for me for golf after researching the courses available + answered my call after hours after I locked myself out of the room without a key. He previously accompanied my request to store luggage during my departure and stay at Lady Elliott Island for scuba diving. Also, he had my left behinds available immediately upon my return. No, there's no big lobby or fancy chandeliers, but there's also a nice clean, comfortable warm room where I can recover before my next activity. Did I mention also that Anthony was very informative as o activities and locations for same question he did.

Bundaberg has many interesting things to see and do. Mon Repo turtle habitat is close by as are many beaches. There are nice wineries in close driving distance. Of course Bundaberg Rum Distillery is here.
We did the snorkelling trip out to Lady Musgrave Island and that was amazing. We enjoyed visiting the Great Barrier Reef and saw Turtles, Stingrays and Sharks. Visited the Bundaberg Ginger Beer Factory which didn't cost anything and was good for a short visit.
We liked what we saw of Bundy and will be back to have a longer and better look. Just the right size for a city. It has it all but not the rat race of the big cities. Seemed easy enough to get around but then I would be lost without sat nav and/or google!
The CBD in Bundaberg is best avoided Traffic flow and parking are terrible The take away meals we bought at Fish n Chips at 251 BOURBONG ST Bundaberg were brilliant. We had z Mongrel Burger and Grilled fish with salad for our meals. The service was great and prices very reasonable . We will go there again . I recommend them.
I go to Bundaberg about once a month. Mainly for shopping, banking and medical appointments. And in the last 4 year's the traffic is horrendous. A lot of inconsiderate driver's. Harder to get parking spot's in the main part of town . And the parking lot's of only 10 min's is ridiculous. Parked there to use an ATM. No ATMs working . It makes you stress out. And they want a cashless society, I hope not. But Bundaberg have their nice spot's, so it's not all bad. We had dinner at Sang's Asian Fusion, a lovely restaurant, good food and lovely service. always eat there or order from there when we stay in Bundaberg.
It’d be great if there was a better way to get there by motor vehicle, than having to battle your way on that Freeway from Brisbane, I was stuck on it 3 times in this last week firstly going into & out of Brisbane on family business, then on departure from Bundy to drive home to Newcastle in NSW I believe it added up to two hours to each trip I made on it, where are all these motor vehicles travelling to? for someone like myself that regularly uses the Freeway from Newcastle to Sydney plus associated Toll roads in and around Sydney that’s saying something, don’t get me wrong your roads are great but wooohee that slowly moving traffic, it’s a shocker.
