Featuring mountain views, Salishan Tree House Suite is set in Cowichan Bay, around 23 km from Mill Bay Ferry Terminal. Enjoyed the European design and indigenous decour. Views of the bay were amazing and suite layout were outstanding, amenities were exceptional , rooms and beds, including linens, were extremely comfortable and were a perfect home away from home. Remote screens for windows, fans, fireplaces were easy to operate and convenient. Secured parking behind a remote wrought iron designed gate added an extra layer of security. A beautiful escape and an opportunity to unwind, relax and connect with nature.

Perfect quiet location, easy access to the unit. The details are exquisite and clearly a lot of thought and pride went into putting this together. Breakfast on the patio looking out into the bay is serene We added an extra day because it was just so peaceful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Situated within 5.9 km of Maple Bay and 24 km of Mill Bay Ferry Terminal, Eaglenest Manor Cowichan provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Duncan. Quiet neighborhood, and our room had a lovely view of the sunset. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and there was a jacuzzi on the deck that we did not use for lack of time, as we were busy visiting the area. We received two (!) bottles of Pino Griggio and breakfast was just perfect. The house is so pretty and well designed and we did not want to leave.

An on-site restaurant is featured at this centrally located Duncan motel. A microwave and fridge are offered in each room. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Victoria city centre is 50 minutes’ drive away. The service was exceptional! We had a problem getting there on time. As a result we needed to call for someone to come check us in. It was 2 o'clock in the morning. The night watchman was kind enough to allow my husband and I to come in and wait in the lobby as it was cold and snowing outside. Due to the late hour I had woken the lady that came to our rescue. She was absolutely great! Checked us in, and was training the night watchman for future services at the same time. We came over for a celebration of life the following day and this lady took her time offering her condolences etc. And again in the morning when we had to check out. I'm sure we'll be staying here every time we travel to the Duncan area, as we already have a few times in the past. But this particular management...she knows how to treat people and gave us every courtesy considering I got her out of bed to come over in the middle of the night. The overall cleanliness of the room was also exceptional. Some places we've stayed have been... a bit scary to say the least.

It was a nice stay for what it was. The staff were great,and the room was clean. The building itself is a little older and run down, but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Location to totem poles is excellent - 10 minutes walk, however part of the road is not paved which could be scary for some because of the volume of traffic. Staff went beyond the call of duty to ensure our stay was as stress free as possible.

Ideal for families. Unfortunately the location is a bit off the beaten track, but again the hotel itself is great.
