Arutanga (0.9 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
Set alongside Aitutaki Lagoon, this resort offers 3 beachfront bungalows. Aitutaki Seaside Lodges is located in Amuri, 5 minutes' drive from Aitutaki Airport. Spacious bungalows with kitchen. Location right on the beach with kayaks. The location was really private and felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. If you don’t have a car (like us) there’s only really one restaurant within walking distance, so worth stocking up on enough food from the grocery store. A great stay!
Hotel in Arutanga ( 1 miles)
Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodation located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Breakfast had too much fruit blends. Orange or pineapple would have been better. Location brilliant 👏.
Arutanga (1.2 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
We are pleased to offer complimentary Starlink internet access in the restaurant and bar area for guests staying with us. The most relaxing, scenic and charming place I’ve been in my two years of traveling around the world… Highly recommend this wonderfully enchanted place…
Arutanga (1.3 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
Located on a white sandy beach beneath coconut palm trees, Paradise Cove offers traditionally thatched self-contained bungalows on the beach front. Each has a veranda with sunset views over the... We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend Paradise Cove Lodge at any time. The location of the bungalows directly on the beach is unique and the staff is incredibly friendly and more than helpful. We were picked up at the airport and warmly welcomed. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would definitely come again.
Amuri (1.3 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
Set in Amuri, 100 metres from Ootu Beach and 400 metres from Aitutaki Beach, Aumaru Holiday Home offers a terrace and air conditioning. Maggie and Dylan were very warm and welcoming hosts. The house was new, modern, clean and comfortable, as a bonus it comes with a cat (has to stay outside though.) A very short walk to Koru Cafe and The Boat shed Bar and Restaurant for all your dietary requirements. Basically on the shore of the lagoon for swimming and water activities. Will definitely stay again in the future 10/10. Meitaki atupaka

Offering a picturesque beachfront location, Ranginuis Retreat features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities. Guests enjoy free use of kayaks. Dylan was great. He helped us organise to go kite surfing, renting a scooter and picked us uo from the airport and took us back. He was always available to help. The view from the sunbeds was beautiful. Nice sandy beach. Great to have free kayaks and a swimming pool. Filtered water tap to fill up on water. Scooter rental on site so very easy to organise. Books available in reception. Bishop's boat cruise and vaka cruise in walking distance. 2 restaurants and one cafe all in walking distance too.
Amuri (1.3 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
Situated in Amuri, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Tai Marino Beach Bungalows has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Staying at Tai Marino Beach Bungalows was an absolutely incredible experience and the highlight of our entire trip to the Cook Islands. From the moment we booked, communication with our hosts Vaea and Marokii was smooth, warm, and helpful. Vaea insisted on greeting us at the airport, even though we had rented a car, just to personally welcome us, show us around the village, and share all the local tips we needed to start feeling at home. Their hospitality throughout our stay was simply exceptional. Always available and genuinely kind, they provided great recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and how to experience Aitutaki like a local. The bungalow itself was perfect, spotlessly clean, newly built, and equipped with everything you might need, including ultra-fast Starlink internet. The location is unbeatable: right on a pristine, quiet beach on the sunset side of the island. Two private loungers and a canoe were waiting for us outside, and we spent every evening walking for hours along the untouched shoreline as the sun set over the ocean. It truly felt like paradise. We also took a private lagoon tour with Marokii on his boat, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world, despite the weather not being the best. The scenery, snorkeling, and the visit to Honeymoon Island and One Foot Island were breathtaking. It felt like we were in a dream. We can’t recommend Tai Marino Beach Bungalows enough and we will certainly be back. Vaea and Marokii, thank you so much for everything—you made our trip magical.#taimarinobeachbubgalows
Arutanga (1.4 miles from Aitutaki Airport)
Exclusively situated on its own private island, this luxury resort offers the only overwater bungalows in the Cook Islands, offering prime views of Aitutaki Lagoon, one of the world’s most beautiful... We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. This is clearly one of the best experiences we had since a while. We have the feeling to be alone in paradise. Each room has access to the beach. We have our own bicycles, canoe, paddle. We have access to the best lagoon of Aitutaki, with cristal clear water. We can go by ourses to other islands with our canoe. We can see turtles not far from the bungalows. Staff people are very kind. A particular thanks to Padi the driver, Mere from the restaurant, Kavita at the front desk. We’ll come back again for sure ;-)
Great location and value for money. Clean and comfortable with excellent wifi connection. Niki organised our scooter rentals with no issues and readily available to answer any questions we may have and offer options for activities in Aitutaki. Our transfers to and from the Airport was done by Jeremiah who was friendl, very helpful and informative. A great place for family wanting budget accommodation in a convenient location.
Include a walk around the island to get the feel of its fabulous location. We put the ambience before our food expectations - breakfasts were generous, lunches were our most enjoyed and the dinners relaxing with Thursday happy hour, local musicians playing and the location adding to a great holiday. A great Resort particularly suitable for young couples with as much or as little activity available as one could wish for.
The weather was not the best, so hampered our judgement. The people were very nice and we were very pleased to have a rental car with Aircon, so we covered the whole island on driving adventures! However, it would be more convenient if the car hire places were at the airport, and/or they would work in more closely with the plane arrivals and departures (We had to wait 2 hours for our plane because the company dropped us there at 5pm, which is the latest they will work...) The two cafes (Avatea & Koru), and the Pacific resort, were excellent!
Definitely stay here. We stayed just the one night, and could've stayed here much longer. It's so peaceful and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent places to eat are close by and the beach is immaculate.
Loved the location and beach views. A small amount of eating facilities in the area, and most were very good. We used tourist activity vans to be picked up and delivered, plus our accommodation did transfers to/from airport. So we did not have transport. Readily available car and scooter rental at our accommodation had we wanted it. Recommend the lagoon tours at Aitutaki
I loved the friendliness of the islanders. My bike chain came off 3 times on a ride to the grocery store. Each time an islander came out of their house, or stopped their car to help. Once on a walk, a woman invited us to her porch and gave us 15 mangoes. In today’s troubled these acts of kindness by the cook islanders, was such a reassuring thing.
