The host Carine knows a lot about Sao Vincente and Santa Antao. She shared many tips, and also was tremendously helpful and accomodating when sorting out a payment issue I had with my visa card.

Casa JPi is a home away from home. We loved our time here. Was a great way to relax in to island life ! JP is an exceptional host, no request too big or small. Really felt well taken care of and welcomed. He met our request for afternoon tea on day when I was craving some tea and cake, as well as picking us up from various locations including the airport and a restaurant. If you don’t manage to reserve the room with the balcony, the view from the shared balcony on the top floor is amazing and you’ll probably get to meet and chat with the other nice guests staying there. Do note that private bathroom doesn’t mean en suite. The place is clean and comfortable and the location is amazing, 1 minute walk from the beach.

Beautiful view from the balcony, nice rooms and dito breakfast. Pretty much the last house in the village, so nice and quiet at night (if it's not too windy ;) )

Featuring a garden, Lazareto Oceanview features accommodations in Mindelo. Among the facilities at this property are an elevator and full-day security, along with free Wifi throughout the property. The location is wonderful, views over the swimming pool, down to the sea, across the bay to Mindelo and to Santo Antao, it even makes washing up a pleasure. It is a bit windy, but the whole island is. Good parking, easy to collect keys, fairly well equipped but there's no kettle or oven which are shown on the listing. Plenty of space, water hot and bed comfortable. Paying was a bit awkward, but we got there in the end.
