The apartment is well situated and has lots of good facilities, including the ability to iron, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels and cooking facilities including a microwave. There is also air conditioning in the lounge area and bedroom. We booked this to attend the Mad Cool festival and couldn't be happier. The apartment was close to the airport (one stop on the metro) without being on the flight path so no airplane noise and had a lovely square and gardens nearby for some local cafes, shops restaurants and bars nearby. There was also a taxi stand and luggage storage really close by. The host was also very helpful and supportive in terms of checking in and answering questions.

This family-run guesthouse is in Barajas, just a 5-minute drive from Madrid International Airport and 9.5 miles from the center of the city. It provides a free 24-hour airport shuttle. This hotel is extremely practical if you need to connect your flights. The shuttle is included in the fee (both ways) and they pick you up whenever you arrive. They provide good instructions about how to get to the meeting point. (English and Spanish) The staff is very accesible and helpful. If I ever need to stay one night waiting a connection flight again I will defenetly stay there again. Not far from the airport. The bathroom was clean and the room had A/C, clean towels and soap for taking a shower.
