I saw the reviews and some were ok and some positive.
I saw the reviews and some were ok and some positive. I think reviews you need to take with a pinch of salt but I wish I had used a premier inn. The room was ok it was clean and well spaced. However the rest of the house was very shabby. The shared bathroom was falling apart no screen on the shower just a curtain that was too short. The garden which was the main attraction from the pictures as horrendous. It was not maintained not that I wanted to but all the barbque facilities were filthy and the garden looked derilict! The pool which the kids were realy excited about was filthy and freezing cold with broken chairs and even empty bottles of wine around it. The cleaner met me and she was lovely and very helpful but didn’t know any details just where the room was and anything else was unknown. Not her fault she was lovely but a proper check I. Would have been useful. There was no where to get hot water for tea no milk for breakfast all In all I would not go back.Guest review byGearyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The location was beautiful scenery and the building was also stunning with original Arts and Crafts architecture. Plenty of parking and enabled my husband to drive me from Suffolk to Gatwick so I could get a taxi the following morning to the airport and he was ester for the journey back the that day! He gets tired easily ! I looked into train, coach and taxi but all of theses were not possible due to expense, time or the fact I had heavy luggage. It was well worth the money !Guest review byWraith - 10.0

It is the perfect overnight stop for those wishing to use the parking for Gatwick airport as it is literally a couple of hundred yards away from the Inn. We will use it any we have to arrive the night before a flight in the future.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 2.0

2 bookings 8th and 23rd November, on arrival 8th, building in darkness except for one small light, rang the bell after several minutes a young woman came to the door and showed us to a family room with no private bathroom even thought we had booked en- suit. Too tired to argue after a long stressful day of travel so just accepted it, shared bathroom down the hall. Slept a few hours and had an early flight, temperature in the room at 05,00am 14 degrees c, went to bathroom for a shower 11 degrees c, skip the shower. We had planned to stay here again on our return journey and everything was paid in advance but because of this experience we decided not to and tried to cancel but they have a 30 none refundable policy so ended up paying for a superb 4x hotel which only costs about £20 more than Hazelwick but was in an all together other class. So an expensive night on our return, I had asked Booking.com to help with this situation as I've been a regular client of theirs for around 30 years, all they could offer was to write to Hazelwick asking if they would waive their none refund clause, I expected a better respons from them, hense I will no longer be using Booking.coms services for future tripsGuest review byStuartSweden - 10.0

Booked parking (8 nights) and room for 1 night with holiday extras and room for 1 night with booking.com. Both exceptional value. Taxi to airport was a fixed £17.50 and very well organised. Even had tracking provided as to how long the taxi would be. Very friendly staff and excellent food. If you're on the 2nd floor the shower takes a while for the water to heat up. Lovely rooms.Guest review bySaraUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Convenient for one night for an early flight next day.
Convenient for one night for an early flight next day. Host ought to heat the place when people are arriving. Due to motorway accident we didn’t get there until 10.30pm and it was freezing cold. Not at all welcoming. Also nothing there to even make a hot cuppa, considering most people stay just a night to get a flight next day, you arent really going to be taking milk with you are you. Bed was comfortable, however as it was so ice cold, it was freezing and obviously we were keen to sleep after an arduous journey and a 3.30am wake up next day. So went to bed in T-shirt leggings and socks! Curtains would also make it more homely and warm (just my opinion) would only stay again if it was warmer months. Just a bit of consideration and thought by the hosts would go a long way.Guest review byTraceyUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Booking.com advised me to contact the host after our awful mis-sold stay with Joanne about possible reimbursement. She said she "would consider reimbursement, if I hadn't posted a review" then when she found out I had already done a review called me "manipulative and unkind" and blocked me from every platformGuest review byJoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
This is a small town very close to the airport.
This is a small town very close to the airport. I am tired of staying at the airport hotels, this was close enough for an overnight stay. We easily walked to the local pub Ye Olde Six Bells, which claims to be over 400 years old (or even older) for dinner. The beer and the food was wonderful and the atmosphere perfect. The next next day we wandered around the town before our long haul flight. There were various supermarkets and other shops to browse. We took a stroll down to the river but there wasn't a nice towpath to follow the river. We had breakfast in a little cafe in the center of town.Guest review byCerisUnited States
