The owner Herman, was super friendly & helpful, welcoming & providing a delicious breakfast. The location was good, near restaurants & a few beaches. There was such a nice breeze at the guesthouse, with the sea right in front. The rooms were big & very comfortable. A wonderful stay!!

WiFi was working very good (they have few different ones). 2 swimming pools with view on the sea, and the breakfast was sensational. Hot water in the shower. An open wardrobe so you can easily store your stuff. We were there while they didn't have other guests so it was super nice.

We had a house all to ourselves + the garden. It was a beautiful Balinese styled house, with gorgeous wooden furniture. The bed was really comfortable. Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Sea World Club Beach Resort & Dive Center has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Maumere. Everything. We've been travelling for ten months, and this was the best value for money we had on the whole trip. It's directly at the beach, which is clean and amazing. The huts are exceptionally clean, bright, and huge. Food is great. Service is perfect. An airport taxi was organised for us very early morning. We could only stay one night, but would have loved to stay a week.

And you can enjoy amazing sunsets from the property. I definitely recommend spending as much time as you can at Happy dive retreat!

We had such a lovely stay at Cassabonelly, it is a beautiful space outside of Maumere city and the perfect place to relax by the ocean. We did yoga in the morning with Sevin which was great! Sevin went above and beyond as a host, helping us with transport to Ende in the middle of the night as our flight was cancelled due to the volcano eruption, even accompanying us on the long drive. She was so friendly and proactive, would highly recommend this place.

Facing the beachfront, Eco dive resort Alycastre offers 4-star accommodation in Maumere and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. The seclusion and remoteness was the appeal for us and it was everything we hoped for. Our arrival was delayed due to very strong winds and Virginie the host/owner was incredibly helpful in making alternative arrangements for us. Virginie is also a talented chef and we loved trying local Flores dishes as well as her European cuisine. We really enjoyed the diving with Antone, stress free and some beautiful macro as well as impressive giant fan corals. Visiting the villages on the island was also a highlight. The resort is very comfortable, lots of places to lounge and relax. It’s an island paradise and lucky are those who make the trip. Thank you for everything Virginie and Antone, this holiday will stay in our hearts and we look forward to come again.
