Both the hotel and the service from Airport pickup to departure was impeccable. All the staff were out to help with a smile at every turn. We had a 5 year old with us who was no well after a 22 hr flight and the hotel accommodated all our additional requests under the circumstances. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast above anything expected with a wide array of regional specialities and traditional international fares

Convenience stores located nearby for grocery/milk/bread purchase. Hot water geyser worked, toilets worked, kitchen had RO water purifier, washing machine available and worked, AC in bedrooms worked. Basic utensils available in the kitchen to make tea. Plenty of room to relax. Very close to Padmanabhan Swami temple. Effortless check in process.

Excellent in every way!! The best hosts and comfortable home. WLovely neighborhood and homestay became my home. Super clean and all facilities perfect. The hosts treated us to friendly and extra special courtesy. I was given special help with ATM issue- and was driven by host to main bank to solve issue-beyond kind effort. Family cooking and meals were the best i ever had in Kerala. Variety, healthy, delicious every bite.

The "palace" is really gorgeous. Very exotic, colorful, really interesting furnishings. Very "Indian". Super convenient to the airport. It's family-run, so I got to meet the whole family. Teen-aged children super enthusiastic, helpful, very fun. They ordered a meal for me - egg curry, which was delicious.

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) Information

Location and Transport

Thiruvananthapuram (also known as Trivandrum) International Airport is situated about 4 miles (7 kilometres) from Thiruvananthapuram city centre. You can reach the city by bus from the terminal, with journeys taking around ten minutes. If you walk part of the way into town, you may find an autorickshaw driver who can take you into town for slightly cheaper than the bus. Trivandrum Pettah railway station is just over a mile (2 kilometres) from the airport and offers connections to Thiruvananthapuram central railway station. If you have heavy luggage, you might want to take a taxi between the airport and the rail station.

    The main purpose of my Visit was to have Darshan of Lord Ananth Padmanabha Swamy. Due to mismanagement of the authorities I am totally DISAPPOINTED. It has been converted in to a fortress for the fourtune found there which belongs to the nation. LANGUAGE BARRIERS is another impediment. Will never return back nor recommend it.

    Horrible services from every end. Was in the road from 9.00 pm to 11.00 pm and nothing happened from Top Parven and OYO customer care. Never ever depend anyone. They have nothing to loose, but only I lost the time, respect and money

    The city has a good balance of tradition and modernity, town...

    The city has a good balance of tradition and modernity, town-ness and urbanisation. Trivandrum has a intimate scale that will appeal to people from large cities, where you can get to one end of the city to another in under an hour. Main roads are just rightly sized, pretty organised and traffic are disciplined compared to most cities in the country. The city is also super clean and tree lined in most parts of central area. I also loved that the city has a good visual character and a good design sensibility - buildings, signages, hoardings, et al.

    Do NOT prefer to book this property.

    Do NOT prefer to book this property. They did not give me the room which I booked and they allotted it to others.They asked to pay extra money for bigger rooms. NO reception, No lights in front, no parking, remote location. VERY BAD :(

    For a capital city, this was more of a large town.

    For a capital city, this was more of a large town. Friendly, helpful and pleasant people. The roads are quite good and the town/streets clean. Traveling around the city and to Kovalam is best done by autorickshaw as there are plenty and available at short notice. Taxi aggregators (Ola & Uber) are available but are not easily available with long wait times.
