Boasting a year-round outdoor pool, Dead Valley Lodge in Sesriem features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Lovely hotel just inside the gate to Sossuvlei, allowing you extended access to the park. Expensive for sure but tastefully designed and we enjoyed the food provided. Pool was ice cold but helps to compensate for the desert heat during the time of year (we came in November). Staff were super kind and accommodating. Room was comfortable. If you're not into camping but want the early access to the park, this is the way to go.

Great location to visit the National park. Great bathroom for a campsite. Shelter from sun. Small pool for cooling off. Bbq available. Loved it. Also great star gazing. Highly recommend.

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. My wife was biten badlx by a tick in the dunes, the staff organised a Transport to the nearby Clinic at no time and no cost! Besides excellent Food and Service we were really feeling at Home far from Home!

Great location and the watering hole meant I got to see more animals than expected. Given was an exceptional guide for my tours also.

Le Mirage Resort & Spa is a unique desert oasis located 100 km from Solitaire, Namibia. It offers luxury accommodation and gourmet dining. Great place to stay, highly recommended! We stayed 2 nights to visit Sossusvlei. You can view the sunrise and sunset by fire place. Also possible to have balloon fly of sunrise behind the hotel, in the morning we job to the backside and go up the small hill and the view was great, at night, you can have amzing milkyway after 5 course dinner which is sunrising good and fast. We did not expect this at our first stay in Namibia, it was the best start you would wish for.

The sundowner was so special and beautiful. We loved our guide Enos. He was a great guy and very knowledgeable.
