Great little hotel with serious designer touch. Looks more beautiful then photos and much more stylish then many other (more expensive) hotels. If bathroom is on same level as room, it would be perfect, but (especially for money paid) it was cleand and functional and we do not have any complaints.

Panama city is quite inviting in the sense that the people of Panama are very friendly. Most people we meet were very knowledgeable with regards to the history and culture of Panama. We went to the native Indian village Embera. Very beautiful and enchanting. Casco Viejo was nice. The local food was very exquisite. We went on a disco tour with a very friendly young energetic university student. This was a nice experience. The Panama canal tour showed human endeavor at its best.
This time around we came to relax and enjoy Panama in another way than touring the city. We enjoyed eating at different restaurants and ceviche at El Mercado de Mariscos. We also went to a few rooftop bars and enjoyed the skyline and some of the nightlife that Casco Viejo had to offer. All in all, it was a very chill vibe. A vacation to remember.
The city has its beauties; it's modern in some areas and has some really nice places to take photos. We went to Isla Taboga, a very beautiful island, and the tour was sensational. There were reasonable drink options, but the food was expensive. We stayed there for a day and left with our backs red from the scorching sun. The city is extremely hot, the traffic is chaotic, things are not expensive, and the people are not welcoming. It's a Latin city that inherited many of the United States' flaws in treating tourists merely as a source of income and not as human beings.
I only had a short 2 day stay in Panama City and it would have been nicer to stay longer. There were many things I would like to have done but time limited and many museums closed on Mondays. I did get to see ships crossing through the Panama Canal. I took the hop on-hop off bus to go around to a few more popular sights. It was easy to walk the Casco to see historic architecture. You can buy Mola fabrics at Saint Francis square from the Guna women. I even at some restaurants the locals eat at instead of at just overpriced tourist spots. The people of Panama are very friendly and were kind when I spoke my terrible Spanish.
Panama City is a great location to visit. Very easy to get around with metro subway or Uber, must plan for traffic congestion at peak hours. Food variety due to many options. The tourist sites are worth visiting. Shopping is simply delightful. Very safe to be in downtown areas at nights. People are friendly and one should try some Spanish words too, they love it.
A wonderful urban jungle that reveals something new every day, filling us with even more enthusiasm. The people were kind and attentive. We traveled with our 4-year-old child and always felt completely safe.
