Pension Angélique - RAIVAVAE in Anatonu provides accommodation with a garden and a bar. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. In Angélique’s absence, we were hosted by Joachim (her uncle) who picked us up from the airport and cooked savory meals during our stay. It was a great authentic experience in an island that does not see many tourists. We loved the shared meals around the dinner table with Joachim, his wife and a guest from the Tahitian government who was in charge of collecting applications for French national id and passport in islands that don’t have the equipment. They had plenty of colorful stories to tell and we learnt a lot anout polynesian culture. We rented a kayak and went to the motus around. If you’re reading this review, make the trip to the Austral Islands, you’ll be rewarded!
