Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, River house is set in Bergsboda. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a lovely stay with my family. The winter scenery was stunning with sunset on the frozen river. Location is great, very close to Umeå, yet already quite wild with immediate access to the river and the forest with several Nordic ski trails. The house is tiny but comfy with all you need for a short stay. The landlord lives in the house next to it, very friendly.

Nice and clean, the hotel bicycles we could borrow for free was nice and the included dinner was also delcious. Staff was very helpful.

Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. We had a great night's sleep, comfy beds, really good shower pressure and overall the place was clean.

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. One of the best places I've ever stayed. It's not the right place for those who want something luxury but it's the place for people appreciating good taste and home atmosphere. It's former jail, yes, but it's one of the coziest places I've seen. I enjoyed everything: cozy atmosphere, comfortable bed, inner decor, breakfast, easy check in at night. Special thank you for fresh flowers and candles! They really gave the feeling of home. It was so nice to talk to the owner at the end of my stay and to learn the story of family business. U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. Perfect location right in the city centre and yet by the riverside and parks. Fantastic ambience, great breakfast and very comfortable rooms with great views. I can only recommend this hotel!
