The property was very well taken care of, it was clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. They were fast to assist us if we needed any help at all and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was a good layout.

    Helena is a small yet friendly city with many noticeable infrastructure improvements going on. The historic home district is great as is the "train" tour around town. Lots of quaint places to shop and dine, with a good mixture of larger national chain stores and other modern conveniences a city slicker like myself can appreciate! On the downside are uneven walking areas in the downtown area, plus more evidence of an increasing homeless population than during my last visit 3 years ago.

    The Last Chance Gulch area is pretty with historic residences and old buildings and new pedestrian areas. Shellie's Country Cafe is charming. Glad to shop at Ross Dress For Less and TJ Maxx. The surrounding mountains are pretty. Google Maps gives bad directions sometimes when driving, and streets are confusing but also charming. Plenty of hotels/motels to choose from.
