Set in Ithaca, within 2.2 km of Cornell University and 3.3 km of Ithaca College, The Dorm Hotel offers accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Visited Cornell for a few days to attend an event and this hotel was ideal. The location is brilliant for access to the campus, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I visited over the Halloween period, and the communal areas were decorated, which was absolutely lovely. The whole hotel also smells amazing- I had to ask which room fragrance they used! Free tea and coffee are available 24/7 which was brilliant , and the whole place has a very cosy, homely feel. One night I managed to forget my room key and locked myself out, but I called the emergency number and a member of staff arrived within a few minutes to let me in...couldn't recommend this place highly enough, if I ever visit the area in the future I will certainly stay again!
