Featuring quiet street views, Sherman Inn is situated in Ogdensburg, around 48 km from Suny Potsdam. It is located 46 km from Clarkson University and features a shared kitchen. You cannot understate how impressive this place is. The rooms are HUGE and amazingly well equipped. The building was a former school and each classroom is now a room to stay in - so they are huge (and each has its own nice bathroom too). Two huge beds, sofas and seating areas, and loads of interesting stuff. The owners have also made a great job of preserving the history of the school, and the area, and you could spend a day just looking around the room and the rest of the building, to learn about the local history. Breakfast was amazing too. See the photos. We normally skip hotel breakfast, but had to make an exception here. I was drinking tea - I even got to choose which teapot I had (there were lots of fun choices, mine was shaped like an elephant!) Ogdensburg is a really lovely place too - great parks, great ice cream shop, and a lot of history that I knew nothing about beforehand. And its a good base to visit various things from as well. Incredible job, a total and very pleasurable surprise. We even changed our schedule to stay an extra night.

The breakfast was nice, of course. The view from the hotel for St. Lawrence River was very beautiful. The hotel room was very friendly to me, because it gave me a friendly feeling to nature.

Beautiful grounds( the owners upkeep to gardens; ponds and boardwalk is impressive! It’s right on the st Lawrence for beautiful views from a common outdoor area and scattered chairs. Cottages are right on the water overlooking gardens each with their own deck table chairs and bbq Inside offers a full kitchen; living room and bedroom. Full bathroom ( just know there’s 1 step up/down to bathroom/kitchen.) Pine interior with clean older furniture. Usually a futon for a couch . Lots of character and themed in nautical decor and Knick Knacks Quiet area just off the road Breakfast included in the price . Basic but enough to satisfy We’ve only stayed 1 night each of our 2 times as just passing through the area. 10 minutes from Prescott for shopping/groceries.

Overlooking Saint Lawrence River, this Johnstown inn is less than 1 km from the Canada/USA Bridge. Located close to Ogdensburg Bridge to the US. Lisa was very welcoming. Room was nice and comfortable.

St Lawrence River Retreat is located in Ogdensburg. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Location was amazing, price was great. Very clean and updated.

Windjammer Lodge in Ogdensburg has a fitness centre and barbecue facilities. Fantastic little gem right on the river. Clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Set amidst 20,000 m² of well-tend grounds, Johnstown Motel offers BBQ facilities and an outdoor pool. The accommodation enjoys free Wi-Fi and views of the St. Lawrence River. Beautiful sunrise over the water. Small, old, but soooo very well maintained. Fullfilled it's purpose easily!
