Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, OBLU SELECT at Sangeli- All Inclusive is located in North Male Atoll. Overall, the island felt very cozy. The atmosphere was both lively and relaxing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villas were exceptional, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

This time, all staff and management team was exceptionally brilliant! they were welcoming, friendly and tried to make conscious effort to celebrated with us! it totally made feel like coming home!

Set in Thulusdhoo, a few steps from Bikini Beach, Samura Maldives Guest House Thulusdhoo has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The staff was so friendly!!! They did everything to help us.

We had a wonderful stay overall and are already considering coming back. The island was stunning and exceptionally clean. Daily cleaning was carried out on both the beaches and the walking paths, which made the entire environment feel fresh and well-kept. Our room was very clean, spacious, and tidied up every day without exception. The hotel pools were also spotless and well-maintained. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their warm and professional approach made our experience even more pleasant. The food was another highlight — delicious and offered in great variety. We truly enjoyed every meal. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast across all areas of the island, which was a nice surprise, especially considering the remote location. Swimming with reef sharks and a variety of colorful fish was a truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. If we were to make a small suggestion, it would be regarding the speed of service at the restaurants. On a few occasions, even when it wasn’t particularly busy, we had to wait nearly an hour for our order. That said, this was not a daily issue and didn’t significantly affect our overall satisfaction. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday and we’d love to return in the future.

We totally enjoyed our stay. We were given an upgrade on arrival to the Water Bungalow for my friend's birthday, and we weren't disappointed. Their service was top-notch from arrival to departure. We must hail up Lashan and Zareer, who worked in the restaurant.

Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. The entire location (hotel and island are the same for all practical purposes), though a bit aged, were in perfect condition, kept and managed really well, and have been designed by people with taste and a good sense of nature and architecture.
