We loved the facilities and location. Be aware that this is a dual purpose residence - it also is home to a number of elderly guests. Plenty of free transport options outside the place to take you to the city centre and surrounds. The Dunkirk War Museum 1940 is only 5 to 10 minutes by taxi and worth visiting. There is a free bus that goes to De Panne station in Belgium which is also 20 mins by taxi. On Saturdays there is a market right next door. The reception staff were very helpful.

It is a new place, well maintained and well equipped, and super clean. No problems with finding a parking spot in the street. Quiet neighborhood area with a couple of restaurants and 20-30 min walk to the beach. Monoprix supermarket and some bars/restaurants 5 min walk away.

This hotel is situated on the Dunkerque waterfront, a 10 minutes’ walk from the train station and a 10 minutes' drive from the beach.

Excellent communication with host. Apartment was impeccably clean and had every amenity you could need (even a fresh pot of basil). Was there to attend hockey tournament so back and forth to ice rink was 2 minutes. Was with a 10 and 2 year old, and everyone was comfortable. Absolutely a wonderful experience. Would recommend and will rebook next year when we are back for the same tournament.

A recently renovated property, La Cabane De Pol is located in Dunkerque near Dunkerque Train Station, Dunkirk Harbor Museum and Belfry of the Saint-Eloi's Church, Dunkerque.

The apartment is not very close to the center, but the bus stops are very close and the transport is free. There is also a supermarket nearby. Christine gave us all the necessary information regarding access to the apartment, Wi-Fi or public transport.
