The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. We loved everything about our stay! We were blown away by the supply of items for guests to use during their stay. From board games/dvds, to beach gear, bicycles, bbqs, coolers etc. we had a fantastic time with more than we could ever need. We could walk to 4 mile beach in less than 1 minute, and we were surrounded by countless restaurants/cafes/shops on the other side.

Location was very convenient, very quiet but still close to beach and shops. Apartment was nicely furnished and noteingewiesen was missen. The Nautilus Holiday Apartments are situated in Port Douglas across the road from the famous Four Mile Beach. Enjoy spacious self-contained apartments opposite the beach and 10-minutes from Macrossan Street. The room is so clean and have everything we need to stay for a couple of days. If you stay for a long time you could easily refill toilet paper or laundry detergent from grocery store or from reception. Kitchen utensils are enough for the whole family, salt, pepper , oil and spices are all in the cabinet. The location is great, you could walk to the beach, the port to take cruise, and main Street to have food! They also have a pool with table , bbq facilities, fridge on the side. Swimming kicking board, noodle and balls are all provided. They even have a basket in the pool for throwing balls into. It’s such a relaxing place for couples and families with children!

Here you can enjoy the beach lifestyle and elegance which gives this Queensland resort its reputation as the ultimate holiday playground. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.

This was the perfect llocation for bars and restaurants and right beside 4 mile beach. Ken on reception was so friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions for our day trips. Lots of little extras like filtered water, ice, books, bar b q and even umbrellas for guests use. A really enjoyable stay.
