The staff was lovely, and the location is very peaceful. Common spaces are nice and the self-catering kitchen is well kept.

Location convenient to family, quiet village, countryside, good pub food. Basic accommodation which could be adapted to self catering.

It was self catering but kitchen had everything required to make breakfast, lunch and evening meal if required. We did not have to take any utensils etc which meant did have to pack much. Very rural great for walkers and if you want to get away from it all.

Lovely little cottage in quiet location, perfect for getting away from it all. Great views! We loved the conservatory for some quiet reading. We only stayed one night, but the well equipped kitchenette would suit self-catering for a week. Loved all the little touches - milk in the fridge was a boon, as the shops are all a drive away.

I had the place to myself and was self-catering, so it was easy to cook, eat, sleep, etc. It is in a beautiful area and very convenient for hill-walking. The place is part of a charity with limited funds and the man in charge was very helpful.

The location was really good for getting around Knighton and very near Knighton bus station, so convenient for travelling to other towns and villages. The room and bed were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good to know that guests could use the kitchen and fridge for self-catering, however I was not made aware of this clearly before arrival.
