While our room didn’t have a tub, you’re able to book the sauna with one. The staff at Section L was so lovely and helpful, we loved our stay and look forward to retuning. They provide you with everything you’d need, with options to rent items: vacuum, rice cooker, additional clothing rack, to name a few. We also thought it was a great location for our 2 week stay and it was easy to get to/from the neighborhoods.

The place was extremely well put together and had great attention to detail that it turned to be one of our favourite accommodations for travelling. Additionally, the host is extremely responsive and helpful.

With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Kameido Tenjin Shrine is 1.2 km from the aparthotel and Ushijima Shrine is 1 km away. The place itself was sparkling clean, conveniently located to all sorts of things we wanted to do, and a great bargain--especially as a last-minute find! The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with, and they sent me a well-written handbook with lockbox instructions, detailed directions to the loction, house info & rules. (in Japanese and English!) Their efforts were very much appreciated.

Kaku Studio Apartment Ikebukuro offers accommodation within less than 1 km of the centre of Tokyo, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. This recently renovated aparthotel is located 300 metres from Ikebukuro Mitake Shrine and less than 1 km from Jizo of Air Raid Victims. The property is close to popular attractions like Nishi-Ikebukuro Park, Wacca Ikebukuro and Ikebukuro Suiten-gu Shrine. The space was very comfortable and clean. The host was so kind and quick to respond. She made sure we knew how to get to the apartment, met us there, and asked us if we needed anything to contact her. She was so welcoming to us :) The area is also super quiet at night which was so important to me as i am a light sleeper haha. We enjoyed our walk through the calm neighborhood on our way back each day.
