The staff was very nice and made sure that we had all we needed. Fabulous place (3 nights!)

Gorgeous location, terrific breakfast for the slight additional cost, very friendly staff and service. Couldn’t have been better!!

The luxurious Village Lake Luxury Apartments are centrally located Hanmer Springs village centre only a few hundred metres from the popular thermal pools and the main street with shops, cafes and restaurants. Everything, lage rooms, great bathroom with bubble bath, fully equipped kitchen, and loved the fireplace in the living room. Beds slept amazing, really loved our stay!

They even gave us a ride to the start of the Kaikoura Peninsula trail. We hardly gave them any notice about wanting to go but they were so accommodating and wonderful! They gave us a lot of tips for activities and helped us make dinner reservations for restaurants that were quite hard to get on a weekend. Just top notch - we've stayed in 5 star luxury resorts and the level of personal touch and service at Shearwater was very comparable! Of course the room is an apartment but the view, the amenities, the personal touch is part of the charm!

When the weather warms up, diving into the refreshing pool or just relaxing under the New Zealand summer sun seems pretty charming. The space, the set up, lots of toys and DVDs for our kids, good kitchen, good beds.

Free WiFi and parking is provided. top floor apartment had a beautiful view of the sun setting over the mountains. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and was a great sizeable layout. amazing location close to the medical center (of whom exceeded epectations) and 150m to the pools and main township.
