The luxurious Village Lake Luxury Apartments are centrally located Hanmer Springs village centre only a few hundred metres from the popular thermal pools and the main street with shops, cafes and restaurants. this apartmennt is an excellent choice, it is truly spacious, very comfortable, amazing view, the equipment of the kitchen is very sufficient, everything you need (I maybe only missed a scale), all was clean. We enjoyed the fireplace (during christmas), spa bath, having brekky on the balcony, all quiet. The apartment is close to the center and you can start some small neighbourhood hikes there. Generally we were very happy with our apartment selection and we very much enjoyed our stay.

They even gave us a ride to the start of the Kaikoura Peninsula trail. We hardly gave them any notice about wanting to go but they were so accommodating and wonderful! They gave us a lot of tips for activities and helped us make dinner reservations for restaurants that were quite hard to get on a weekend. Just top notch - we've stayed in 5 star luxury resorts and the level of personal touch and service at Shearwater was very comparable! Of course the room is an apartment but the view, the amenities, the personal touch is part of the charm!
