Great area very calm and relaxing, service was amazing so was checking in. Very smooth didn't take a minute and the host was kind enough to check me in outside working hours. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette. It was also reasonably quiet. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of sockets near the bed and the desk to charge things, also USB ports. The grand mosque is within walking distance, also plenty of shops, but note that Muscat is not pedestrian-friendly (no sidewalks, or zebra crossings).

The location suited me very well since it was easy to get to in a car, yet you could walk to Ruwi Souk or even Muttrah if you wanted to, Their restaurant, Ananthapuri, is also well worth a visit. Super good indian food and very friendly staff. I had one of, if not THE best meal ever in this restaurant.

MacDonalds is around the corner and there is a hospital right across the road, as well as small cafes and a 24/7 shop. Plenty of parking around. Staff were very friendly and the room was spacious. We checked in at 12, which was very handy after a long flight.
