The apartment was beautifully clean and much thought was given to ensure the comfort of guests. Alba, Muko's daughter, is a delight and couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment is close to the bus drop-off, and the walk up to the castle through the old city allows an appreciation of its antiquity.

Hosts are very kind and helpful. I did really feel welcome. They also offered to drive me to the old town, which is a short but uphill walk. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a nice cup of homemade herbal tea and a cake. Nice welcome gesture! Freshly picked cherries were also on the table. The property is easy to find, close to the main road, but on a relatively quiet street. You can park in the courtyard in front of the apartment inside the locked gate. The apartment is new and functioning. Very clean, also the bathroom. The room is big enough, with a comfortable bed. It is nicely furnished, with several books on the shelves. Tiny kitchen is in a separate room (although I did not use it as there were many excellent, affordable restaurants in town). Breakfast was delicious, especially freshly prepared soft fried dough, home-made cherry marmalade and fresh fruits.

The host family is very friendly. The breakfast is amazing. And the guesthouse is just a couple of minutes walking from all there is to see in the town. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

A spacious, modern, clean and great apartment on walking distance of the city centre (about 10-15 minutes walking), free parking place and just above a very good bakery that sells good bread, cakes and pastries! Also a supermarket and vegetable shop nearby. The apartment has everything you good possibly need. The host, Dorina is very helpful and hospitable. She even printed our flighttickets for us a we received a box of very tasty cookies! We can only recommend DAI apartments!

    The apartment is within a short walking distance from the bus station. It is spotless clean and has everything you may need for a short stay. The landlord is very nice and helpful. We would love to be back for a longer stay some day. We definitely recommend the place.

    Mind that this apartment has common bedroom + living room space, not separate rooms as described in the offer. Nice place for a short stay in Gjirokaster, no parking problems so if you have a car you can stay outside of the crowded tourist area. Very comfortable beds, all amenities worked and the host was very nice :)

    We had a lovely stay at Jani Studio Apartments. Everything was super clean and the bed was the most comfortable one we slept in at our vacation in Albania. The communication with the owner was via WhatsApp, which made it very easy for us. We would definitely stay again at Jani Studio Apartments.

    We really loved to stay here. The host was super kind, the service was amazing, I loved the bathrobe it was the best and softest I’ve ever felt! The hygiene was perfect and it was the first room that really felt like a ‘hotel’. We’re from the Netherlands and most of the accommodations here in Albania are apartments, but Jani Studio felt like a high class hotel room. Compliments to the engineer and the host. Would recommend to everyone, this was part of our honeymoon.

    The studio apartment interior has very recently been renovated to a high standard. Excellent facilities, very comfortable (single) bed. Good location in the flat 'new' town area (as opposed to up the hill in the old town) - very convenient for onward travel by bus. Owner was very responsive.
